with reference to any one of the following: i) Egypt (Old Kingdom); ii) China(Shang),

V. Slave society in ancient
Greece & Rome: agrarian economy, urbanization, trade.
VI. Polis in ancient Greece:
Athens and Sparta; Greek culture.
