7.Monoculture: Monoculture
is the agricultural practice of growing a single crop, plant, or livestock
species, variety, or breed in a field or farming system at a time.
8.Mixed Farming: Mixed
farming is a type of agriculture which involves both crops and livestock.
9.Dairy Farming: Dairy farming is a class of agriculture for
long-term production of milk, which is processed for eventual sale of a dairy
product.
10.Sericulture: Sericulture, or silk farming, is the
cultivation of silkworms to produce silk.
11.Silviculture: Silviculture is the practice of controlling
the growth, composition/structure, and quality of forests to meet values and
needs, specifically timber production.
12.Plantation Farming: Plantation agriculture is a type of
commercial farming in which a single crop is grown for the entire year. The major crops grown during plantation
agriculture are Tea, coffee, sugarcane, cashew, rubber, banana or cotton.
13.Truck Farming:A
market garden is the relatively small-scale production of fruits, vegetables
and flowers as cash crops, frequently sold directly to consumers and
restaurants.
14.Shifting Farming: Shifting cultivation is an
agricultural system in which plot of land are cultivated temporarily, then
abandoned while post-disturbance fallow vegetation is allowed to freely grow
while the cultivator moves on to another plot.
15.Nomadic Herding: Nomadic pastoralism is a form of pastoralism
when livestock are herded in order to seek for fresh pastures on which to
graze.
16.Transhumance: Transhumance is a type of pastoralism or
nomadism, a seasonal movement of livestock between fixed summer and winter
pastures.
17.Interculture: Intercultural communication is a discipline
that studies communication across different cultures and social groups, or how
culture affects communication.
18.Aquaculture: the cultivation of aquatic animals and
plants, especially fish, shellfish, and seaweed, in natural or controlled
marine or freshwater environments; underwater agriculture.
19.Pisiculture:
The
breeding, rearing, and transplantation of fish by artificial means is called
pisciculture, in other words, fish farming.
20.Apiculture:
Beekeeping
(or apiculture) is the maintenance of bee colonies, commonly in man-made hives,
by humans.
